Quick Start Instructions for Conversing with Us using "[matrix]"

To chat with us and with other visitors to IDEAFARM.COM, you will need to open an account with a "provider". Choosing a "[matrix]" account provider is like choosing an email provider such as Gmail or Hotmail. Although there are other providers, we recommend that you open an account with either matrix.org (free) or with communick.com (paid subscription). IDEAFARM.COM uses communick.com. We are not paid to recommend them. The differences are:

  1. The free matrix.org server can become crowded and slow.
  2. The free matrix.org server enforces more restrictions in order to minimize abuse.
  3. You'll have better access to, and get a quicker response from, communick.com support.

You can open a free account with matrix.org. Follow these instructions and you will be able to access the "[matrix]" system for free. "You get what you pay for!" You can start out with a free account and then switch to a paid account later:

  1. Click: [ https://matrix.org/try-matrix/ ]
  2. Click the "Install Element" button and then click the button that corresponds to the type of computer or phone that you have.
  3. Ignore any information that appears about choosing a provider; just choose matrix.org .
  4. With your Element client open, click the "Parlor" link below to enter our room and introduce yourself.

Or, you can open a paid subscription account with communick.com. Follow these instructions and you will be able to access the "[matrix]" system at a cost of about $2.50 per month:

  1. Purchase "Communick Full Access (single account)" for $29 USD / year after 14 day trial by clicking here: [ [matrix] on communick.com ]
  2. Follow their instructions for installing the free Element client app on your personal computers and/or phones.
  3. With your Element client open, click the "Parlor" link below to enter our room and introduce yourself.

IDEAFARM.COM rooms on "[matrix]":

Wo'O's Table (Classroom) is a private classroom for registered students only. (Click "Wo'O's..." at left for more detail.) Wo'O IdeaFarm is a 70 year old economist (Ph.D. Lite, University of Chicago, A.M., University of Chicago, B.A. magna cum laude, UCLA). While in residence at the University of Chicago, he was certified as an expert in three fields within economics. He was able to study at the University of Chicago because the Department of Economics gave him a full scholarship as well as a stipend. His Ph.D. dissertation research was in the field of mathematical economic theory. From his time in residence at the University of Chicago to the present, his research interests have focused on gender, gender roles, morality, and how wisdom regarding these topics enables humans to win at the game of life. Wo'O IdeaFarm's objective in seeking students is to profess the ideas that young people need to hear but are maliciously not being told. Anywo can read and independently study the ideas presented on IDEAFARM.COM, which comprise the material that is the focus of the classroom experience. But the most effective and enjoyable way to master the ideas on IDEAFARM.COM is to discuss them with your friends, register as a student, and study seriously to earn your Certificate of Mastery.

To enter the classroom, you must be a paid student. Use the following link to register. Be sure to carefully enter your correct email address. Do not subscribe until after you've installed Element (or some other "[matrix]" client) and have introduced yourself in our "Parlor" room. After you've registered as a student, your email address will be used to send you an invitation to join the "Classroom" room. This is a manual process so please allow several business hours. If you need to use another payment method, or have any other questions or problems, click "about" at the top left of any page on IDEAFARM.COM and contact us by email.
